Only Sans — Research Preview

I don’t second guess what I wear anymore.

Only Sans is exploring a trusted personal styling companion that understands your wardrobe, lifestyle, preferences, occasions, comfort level and goals — then quietly reduces the mental effort of getting dressed and buying clothes.

The problem

Getting dressed has quietly become one of the most repeated decisions of the day — and one of the most draining.

It isn't that people lack clothes. Most of us have closets full of them. The difficulty is the constant, low-level negotiation: decision fatigue from choosing again and again, a lack of confidence about whether an outfit actually works, and simply too many choices with no clear reason to pick one over another.

The result is wasted time, second-guessing in the mirror, and purchases made out of doubt rather than intent.

Three principles

Decisions over discovery

Less endless browsing and inspiration. More clear, confident answers to the only question that matters in the moment: what do I wear?

Confidence over trends

Not what is fashionable this season, but what genuinely suits you, fits your life, and feels right to wear again and again.

Use what you own before buying more

Your existing wardrobe comes first. New purchases should fill real gaps — not paper over the uncertainty of not knowing what to reach for.

What we're learning

Underneath the daily friction, people are really asking for certainty.

Across early conversations, three questions come up again and again. They are less about style and more about trust — the quiet confidence of knowing a choice is right before you commit to it.

What suits me
People want a dependable read on what actually flatters them — their shape, colouring and proportions — rather than guessing each morning.
What is appropriate
Uncertainty spikes around context: the right register for a meeting, an event, a first date, or simply a day that feels different.
What is worth buying
Before spending, people want to know a purchase will earn its place — that it fits their life and their existing wardrobe.
